We are so excited that you will be joining us for the 2010 Todd Bates Football Skills Camp! Below is a few things you may want to know before heading to camp. If you have additional questions, send an email to tesa@toddbates.org.

WHAT TO WEAR? Wear gym shorts, tennis shoes and/or bring cleats. Camp Day T-shirt will be provided.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? Camp will start at 9:30a.m. Same day registration and sign-in for those who pre-registered will begin at 9a.m in the Rec Center Gym. Participants will pick-up their camp day t-shirt, name tag and take a group photo before heading to the football field. If you pre-registered online, then you will need to bring or have parent or guardian available to sign the Waiver and Release of Liability Form.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I PICK MY CHILD UP? Camp will be dismissed at the Recreation Center Gym at 3:00pm. Here’s a Brief Itinerary of the day:
- Registration & Sign-in: 9a.m.
- Camp 1st Half: 9:30a.m. – 12:00p.m
- Lunch Served: 12:00pm – 12:30pm
- Guest Speaker(s) 12:30p.m. – 1:00p.m.
- Camp 2nd Half: 1:00p.m. – 3:00p.m.
- Dismissal in the Recreation Gym 3:00p.m.
DIRECTIONS:
From Birmingham: Take I-20 E to Exit 199 toward Heflin/Hollis. Turn LEFT onto AL-9 toward Heflin. (Hardies will be on your right).
From Atlanta: Take I-20 W to Exit 199 toward Heflin/Hollis. Keep RIGHT at the fork to go on ALMON ST / AL-9. (Hardies will be on your right).
From Tuscaloosa Take I-20 E/I-59 NI to I-459 N (Exit 106). MERGE onto I-20 E (Exit 29) to Exit 199 toward Heflin/Hollis. Turn LEFT onto AL-9 toward Heflin (Hardies will be on your right).
From Montgomery Take I-65 N to I-459 N (Exit 250) MERGE onto I-20 E (Exit 29) to Exit 199 toward Heflin/Hollis. Turn LEFT onto AL-9 toward Heflin (Hardies will be on your right).
—– Once you turn onto AL-9 keep straight. (You will see a Post Office on your right). At the bottom of AL-9 turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto Highway 78. (Jack’s will be on your right). Slow down…make a RIGHT by the Metro Bank onto COLEMAN ST. Keep straight. (You will see a church on your right). The Heflin Recreation Center will be on your RIGHT.
