“FINISH THE RACE”

I’m calm and collective as I’m hitting my stride,

I’m humble, respected, and focused on getting the prize.

I’ll never grow weak or let the dream go,

I know the stakes are high, even when hope seems low.

Each day means another step,

FAITH is the common trait, so I’ll ask the Lord for help.

I will dominate even when I’m physically drained.

The world will watch as my status will visibly change.

With every movement my body starts aching,

But I never worry because the Godly will make it.

God has His hand behind my map,

I’ll follow His plan through the final lap.

I’ll purse the ring with only minutes to chase,

I’ll see the true king when I FINISH THE RACE.
