“Play Your Game”
Sometimes you have to blind yourself to find yourself,
Because the body can do what the mind accepts.
The spine is not weak unless you give,
In a fight to death confidence decides who lives.
Is the mile long or the hill high?
Only to the lone and still eye.
When there is pressure one must be calm,
The enemy sees your gestures and hears your tongue.
Don’t give in to them when they say you’re lame,
They’ll get tired of talking if you play your game.

Todd – your words are exactly what our team needs to hear and to believe in! Some of our players are testing the waters and I want them to embrace what we are trying to do. Thank you also for sharing your sister with our program, she is such a good person and a solid coach. Our players are so fortunate to have her, as am I.
