Pre-Registration will be open Friday, June 1st – Saturday June 30th. You must pre-register in order to attend. The camp will be open to ONLY 100 participants so be sure to sign-up early. Camp day will last from 9am – 1pm at the Heflin City Football Field.

2012 SKILLS CAMP

The Heflin Parks & Recreation Department is teaming up with Todd Bates again for the 6th Annual Todd Bates Football Skills Camp. Please mark your calendars for July 7, 2012! The camp will be FREE and include lunch and a t-shirt for the first 100 participants ages 6-12. Pre-Registration will open in June. You must pre-register in order to attend. The camp will be held from 9am – 1pm at the Heflin City Football Field.

The 5th Annual Todd Bates Football Skills Camp will be held at the Heflin Recreation Center – City Football Field July 9, 2011. Heflin is just outide of Anniston in the East Alabama area. 4th Annual Todd Bates Camp Success

The 2010 Todd Bates Football Skills Camp was a great success! Our 3 awesome speakers did a great job! The main topics were Faith, Commitment, and Focus. I’d like to again thank all of my coaches, staff, sponsors and participants. Without your support this camp would not be what it is today. If you missed out this year, then you really missed a treat. I sure hope you can make it out next year as we celebrate 5 years. It is sure to be another great camp!

We are so excited that you will be joining us for the 2010 Todd Bates Football Skills Camp! Below is a few things you may want to know before heading to camp. If you have additional questions, send an email to tesa@toddbates.org.

LOCATION: Heflin Recreation Center 1228 Coleman Street Heflin, AL 36203 (Phone: 256-463-5434)

WHAT TO WEAR? Wear gym shorts, tennis shoes and/or bring cleats. Camp Day T-shirt will be provided.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? Camp will start at 9:30a.m. Same day registration and sign-in for those who pre-registered will begin at 9a.m in the Rec Center Gym. Participants will pick-up their camp day t-shirt, name tag and take a group photo before heading to the football field. If you pre-registered online, then you will need to bring or have parent or guardian available to sign the Waiver and Release of Liability Form.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I PICK MY CHILD UP? Camp will be dismissed at the Recreation Center Gym at 3:00pm. Here’s a Brief Itinerary of the day:

Registration & Sign-in: 9a.m.
Camp 1^st Half: 9:30a.m. – 12:00p.m
Lunch Served: 12:00pm – 12:30pm
Guest Speaker(s) 12:30p.m. – 1:00p.m.
Camp 2^nd Half: 1:00p.m. – 3:00p.m.
Dismissal in the Recreation Gym 3:00p.m.

DIRECTIONS:

From Birmingham: Take I-20 E to Exit 199 toward Heflin/Hollis. Turn LEFT onto AL-9 toward Heflin. (Hardies will be on your right).

From Atlanta: Take I-20 W to Exit 199 toward Heflin/Hollis. Keep RIGHT at the fork to go on ALMON ST / AL-9. (Hardies will be on your right).

From Tuscaloosa Take I-20 E/I-59 NI to I-459 N (Exit 106). MERGE onto I-20 E (Exit 29) to Exit 199 toward Heflin/Hollis. Turn LEFT onto AL-9 toward Heflin (Hardies will be on your right).

From Montgomery Take I-65 N to I-459 N (Exit 250) MERGE onto I-20 E (Exit 29) to Exit 199 toward Heflin/Hollis. Turn LEFT onto AL-9 toward Heflin (Hardies will be on your right).

—– Once you turn onto AL-9 keep straight. (You will see a Post Office on your right). At the bottom of AL-9 turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto Highway 78. (Jack’s will be on your right). Slow down…make a RIGHT by the Metro Bank onto COLEMAN ST. Keep straight. (You will see a church on your right). The Heflin Recreation Center will be on your RIGHT. End at 1228 Coleman Street Heflin, AL 36264 (256)-463-5434
